“I first met Joe Darnell about four years ago. His cousin introduced us and wanted to show me the long bows Joe had been making. As soon as I laid eyes and hands on Joe’s bows, I told him I wanted to place an order for him to make one for me. He politely declined the offer, saying he had not quite perfected his processes yet, and he didn’t want to sell one until he was totally satisfied with the finished product.
